February release day three

Today we are focusing on the new dies for the February release. I decided to just use dies on my project so they would be the stars of the project. I made a composition notebook with them. I think it turned out really cute. I kept it simple so the dies could shine. These will be available tonight at 10:00 pm CST.

We have an exciting new proposition for you! We are looking for people who can promote All That Scraps and the products carried in the store that are not C.C. Designs. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, read on.

This is what we would require from you.

Must have a strong blog presence
Regular posting to your blog (at least twice a week)
Would need to post on the ads blog once a month
Post to your blog once a week with a project linking to All That Scraps products carried in the store (can post more as this will help your affiliate earnings)
Include ATS banner link on your blog in a prominent spot
Must have good photography skills

In return you can expect the following.

Store affiliate % to be paid each month. (must have a paypal account to receive affiliate earnings)
Discount on all ATS products

Today is a review over at All That Scraps. My husband got this box from work last week with chocolate covered nuts in each of the 3 tiers. I made him take the candy to work to share and snatched the box. :) I love the glitz and sparkle. I also loved the bow and the berries on it. I added this cute tag. Back from the Past

We decided to do a Back from the past post to show off older C.C.Designs stamps. I didn't get mine done in time for the post but here it is a day late. I was playing with my Grand babies instead and we had a blast. :) Here is Cocoa Emma and the Sugarplums winter tree and park bench. I love how this turned out. I need to do scenes more often. This is where I spent all of last week. It was heaven I tell you. This is the view from our bedroom window at our condo. This was the 20th year we have been able to enjoy this beautiful place. I feel blessed and thankful for this yearly vacation. I did get a sore throat and some congestion while I was there but the beauty of it all was worth it. :)

Today I am reviewing Dazzle M. Nightly and Snowman Sayings. I had so much fun making this snowman card in fall colors. I love doing things out of the box and I think this one turned out pretty cute and sparkly.

This banner was so fun to make. I already have a winter banner so my daughter is getting this one. I hope she enjoys it.

I used Hello Birgitta to make this banner as well as the C.C. cutters five point flower. I pinched the corners to make it look more like a poinsetta flower. I also used the new C.C. cutters mitten die. I think this is going to be a go to all winter for me. It is so cute. Birgitta's clothes are paper pieced.

I am thrilled to be showing you this adorable stamp set today! When Anna White emailed me and asked me to be a featured designer for October I had to pinch myself. I have loved Anna's work for a long time and her Whipper Snapper Designs stamps are the cutest! I have also adored Anna's farm and especially her chickens. We have that in common as I have chickens as well. When I saw her Farmgirl Betty and Farmer John stamps, I am pretty sure I squealed. :)

Reindeer Lights

Hi, it's me again! Today I am thrilled to show you Reindeer Lights and Sparkly Wishes. Did you notice the cute little string of lights? It is the new C.C. Cutters String of Christmas Lights die. :) Does it get any cuter? I love these lights because the string is delicate and moves easily. You can make it straight or curved. Also it is very easy to do different colors for your lights. Just cut it with different colors of paper and then cut each bulb off and glue it to your string. It was super fast and easy.

Review Preview ~ Bee Laugh

Today I got to play with Bee Laugh. I had so much fun coloring her. I love how she is sticking her tongue out. It makes me giggle. I made this box for my granddaughter to put her necklaces and treasures in. She just moved and has a new pink bedroom. I hope she likes it.

I made the faux chipboard letters using my Spellbinders punch alphabet dies that have been made just to go in the Presto Punch Machine. I cut each letter from card stock 3 times and carefully glued them together to make them look like chipboard. It was quick and easy and I have tons of other ideas to use these faux chipboard letters in other projects. I also used my sew mini to gather the ribbon for the ruffle on the bottom of the box. I think it added some pretty embellishing and was super easy to do. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities. :)

I made this recipe box for Christine to show at CHA in the All That Scraps booth and haven't put it on my blog yet. I kept it simple as I wanted to just show off the stamp. :) This is a C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie stamp called Pie Birgitta. Isn't she just the cutest? I didn't want this box to get dirty in a kitchen so I used modge podge on the paper and also on the image. All the pics are in here in the wrong order so I will just explain each. We make this annual trip to Lancaster Pennsylvania for a trucking trade show for my husband's work. We adore Lancaster and the Amish country. It is so amazing to feel like we have stepped back in time. Love it!!! After the show is over we usually drive to NYC and take in a couple Broadway shows and just play for a couple days. Our Saturday NYC experience this year was so amazing. We loved the whole day. Sorry for so many pics but I want to remember each experience we had this trip. So starting at the end (haa haa)........

On Friday night we saw the Adams Family. We have seen many Broadway shows and it was ok for us but not a highlight. Our favs are The Lion King, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Little Mermaid, Mama Mia and now Mary Poppins!!! It was AMAZING!!!! We have never sat so close. We were in the second row, front and center. We could see in the orchestra pit. It was so cool. Loved it!!! ♥♥♥
Dinner was before the show and we went to one of my favorite places, Bubba Gumps. This is a shot out the window looking out at Good Morning America from our table. Seriously my favorite seating in the whole place. I had steamed crab legs and for dessert we shared key lime pie. Hubby had a sirloin. It was an amazing relaxing dinner. I love how the Bubba Gumps light up sign reflected off the window in this pic. I didn't even notice until I uploaded my pics. :) ♥♥♥
While we waited for dinner we found a chair in Times square and people watched. This was one of my favorite people I saw, ;) Captain Jack Sparrow on the Toys R Us store. Hee hee There were a few people with signs that said free hugs and we had an enjoyable hour or so watching them interact with people while we waited for our tummies to get hungry.
Uber cool jewelry store in SoHo. I loved how the fabric was all scrunchy on the walls and the zebra floor. It was fun.
Fish market in China Town. We had never walked around on the street here before so it was way cool to get up close. We saw tubs of live crabs, and even live frogs. It was a fun experience.
My new fav place in Little Italy!!! I ♥ gelato! I have never had it and it was amazing!!! We will definitely go back next year. Yummmmyyyy!!
Having lunch on the sidewalk in Little Italy. Hubby was serious about getting some yummy food in his tummy. We decided to share lunch so we would have room for the gelato and cannoli later. It was a good choice. We had some yummy meatballs for an appetizer and then some penne pasta with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. It was so good. There was a guy who sits out there on the street and calls out to the people passing by. He would say things like "Hey lovely lady come have lunch in the garden". It was so fun and probably the closest we will ever get to Italy. One can dream right?
Before heading to Little Italy we hopped on the subway from our hotel and headed to ground zero. With the recent happenings in our country, of finally getting Bin Laden, we decided to pay another visit and see the progress on the rebuilding going on. It is coming along nicely and I will never ever forget the first visit we made there just a year after 9-11. It is nice to go there and reflect and pray for those who lost loved ones. It is going to be a really nice place when they are finished with the building.
This is the Back to The Future car. Hee hee the theme of the trucking show was Back to The Future and they brought in the car. We had our pic taken next to it. It was cool to see the smoke coming out of it from time to time. Kinda fun.
Our first stop when landing in Philadelphia is usually to head for my Hubby's favorite Philly cheese steak joint. Campo's!!!! We landed and barely had time to make it to our first ever Philly's game. Lynette texted us and let us know that they had Campo's at the ballpark. We just headed there and had our first cheese steak there. I have to say we like the restaurant better but it wasn't bad. Hubby was in heaven and even though I am not much into sports I enjoyed the experience. Shhh don't tell anyone I crocheted dish clothes through the whole game.

There you have it, our trip in backwards order. It was super fun and we really enjoyed the break from the nasty Idaho weather we have had forever. I hope you enjoyed the play by play. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities.

This one showcases these gorgeous butterflies. I am in love. I made this for a wedding we recently attended. I love the softness and the beauty of the pearls on the wings. I wasn't able to get it to fit in an envelope however. Hee hee I used it as part of the packaging and tied it to the gift.

This is another Sweet November Stamps Flitters. Her name is Raspberry and I couldn't wait to use her since raspberries are my absolute fav!! Yummmy!!! I had so much fun creating with this cute stamp. I also used Amy's new Great Greetings set for the words. I just used a marker for each one I wanted and then stamped it, cleaned up the stamp and used my marker for the next one. I love how it turned out random.

Playing catch up

I have been a traveling woman and have missed getting up some of my posts for this month. :) My hubby and I had a wonderful work/play trip to Pennsylvania and NYC! It was good to get away and we had a blast. It has taken me over a week to recover and I have been trying to ease back into the exercise as well. I think I am back on track now. I will make another post with a couple pics to show you some of the fun stuff we got to do.

This months release included this cutie Blueberry. I also showcased the new C.C. Cutters dies for May. The border die is just fun and the butterfly is a new fav. :)

New Birgitta :)

We have a new Birgitta, along with a stone wall and a lamp post. I had so much fun playing with these stamps. I paper pieced her dress on this. I have had a question about paper piecing. You just stamp the image on designer paper and then cut it out. You need to make sure all the black line is on it when you cut it out. After carefully cutting, glue it to your image. I prefer coloring my image and using my dies to cut it out first, then I add the paper piecing. It is really easy and makes some super cute stuff. Here is a tutorial as well<----

You all know I love the monkey and guess what? It's back. :) I squealed for joy when I saw the new monkey image. Isn't it just the cutest with the tulips? Today we are previewing Amy R Stamps It's Your Birthday and Best Birthday Wishes. There are so many sentiments in these two sets! You can't go wrong with both of them. I used It's Your Birthday on this sample. I also used the new C.C. Designs Big Cupcake. Love this cupcake. It looks so yummy! Little Tag set and matching die

I am in love with this cute new tag set. It has a matching die and the flower is included with the die. Love it! I was crazy and sat for hours cutting out the basket. ;) I can see this cute basket filled with so many fun things. New February Release

Meet the newest Kiki LaRue. I love her flowers. She screams spring time. I am so ready to get rid of this cold snap and melt off this snow and get on with spring. :) It is time don't you think? I keep seeing stampers color directly on kraft card stock and thinking I will do it, then forgetting to try it. I did have issues with her skin looking funky so I stamped her again and put the skin on regular white cardstock and then paper pieced it. The paper flowers are from the new Little Tag die that will debut tomorrow. You got a sneak peek. ;) The metal flower came from a necklace I got and can't make myself wear. It has a bunch of flowers but they lay on my neckline funny. I paid good money for it and decided to use the flowers for cards. They are to pretty to just sit in a box.

There is a new release at All That Scraps taking place on Monday January 3rd at 10:00 pm EST. I am so excited about these new Swiss Pixie stamps. They are precious! Did you notice the cute key and heart? They are new C.C. Cutters dies that will also be available on Monday. There are 3 different keys and the the heart. Christine is also bringing in some gorgeous metallic paper. I used the paper behind my pink pixie and on the key. It is so sparkly and looks gorgeous embossed and sanded.

This week I issued a double challenge. We would love to have you play along. The details are at the All That Scraps challenge blog. I chose to do the "be grateful" part of the challenge. I decided to use fall colors for this one though. The lace is handmade by me. You can find directions for the lace here<------- I also wanted to point out this yummy ribbon!
