Masculine thanks and Anniversary!

I needed a manly thank you card for a family friend and this is what I came up with. I started with Sahara sand as my base and I am on a square card kick. Sahara sand classic ink and my flannel plaid bg stamp started the process. I used my little pieces in sahara sand as well. Really rust was doodled around the top and side edges. Faux stitching in really rust across the bottom added a nice touch. I am still loving my Au Chocolat paper and used it for the bottom strip. I put it through my thanks cuttlebug folder, and then sanded it with my sanding block. I wrapped some jute around the bottom strip and knotted it. It is also backed with really rust. I used circle punches in chocolate chip, really rust stamped with the paisley bg stamp in chocolate chip craft and then little pieces stamped in really rust and chocolate chip craft ink. The tag was made by putting the chocolate chip layer through the thanks cuttlebug folder and layering with really rust. The thanks is cut on my cuttlebug. By definition was stamped in close to cocoa craft ink and the edges were distressed with the ink, then aged with scissors and fingernails. Hodgepodge hardware and a making memories brad were used to finish it off. Stampin'Up! chocolate gross grain ribbon and twill were used on the end.

Sorry this is getting long, but I wanted to let you know that I am celebrating a big anniversary with Stampin'Up! this month! 10 years! Woo hoo!
