Review Preview Friday

Today is review preview Friday and guess what? I am the blog you are looking for to win the $5 gift certificate to All That Scraps! All you need to do is comment in this post and I will pick a winner on Tuesday of next week. Please leave an email so we can get in touch with you. Today we are reviewing the Sugarplum Halloween and Scene sets. I cheated and used a bit of all of them. ;)
The first one is a cute lil coaster box I made to put my Grandson's Halloween goodie in. What do you get a little one for Halloween? He will be 4 months at Halloween time so I figured some toys would be fun. The paper can be purchased at All That Scraps. It is K I Memories Haunted Magic. Ribbon is SU eggplant. I used my copic markers to color and airbrush. The pumpkins are really the only ones from the preview set Sugarplum Halloween.
This pizza box was made for my Granddaughter. She is 3 and loves all things purple. She is a wizard of Oz fan as well and loves the witch. She also mauls my cats and wants a cat of her own. I am planning to put purple fingernail polish and purple necklaces in this as well as some candy. This is colored with my copics and then airbrushed. The moon was airbrushed in two yellows. Stickles were added to the moon, bat, witches hat and shoes. The polka dots on her dress, cat's eyes and broom. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!

Finally :)

Friends meet the brand new C.C. Designs My Rubber Ducky set! Isn't it just the cutest? Christine showed this to us several months ago and I have been so anticipating the unveiling of this one! I am in love! This monkey and I have a thing going on! I love him! So the colors for my first card with this are ballet blue, and pumpkin pie. I inked up my circle embossing folder with the ballet blue and then ran it through my cuttlebug making the embossing colored. I saw this forever ago and have been wanting to try it! I used crystal effects on the bubbles. I was going through my drawer and found this Stampin' Emboss puff stuff that I bought forever ago. (I think it is retired) I used two way glue on the foam bubbles and then heated it with my heat tool. It puffs up when you heat it. I also used crystal effects on the duckies beak. I airbrushed around the image and also on the tag. The Wednesday challenge for yesterday was to do a pop up card. I did a spiral pop up. There is a tutorial at SCS to help you teach you how to do this. All the coloring is done with my copics. I airbrushed around the images and on the sentiment. The prima's are also airbrushed. Notice the bear is in the tub? I cut off the monkey and added the bear! This would be so cute to use as a gift card with a basket of bath stuff don't ya think? Swarovski crystals are in the centers of the flowers and I used the Stampin' emboss puff on the bubles and foam again. This set will be available tonight along with a kit or separately. We will be chatting on the forum if you want to come talk before you buy! Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!

Review Preview Friday

This treat container was so much fun to make. It is a recycled prima flower containter. I filled it with pumpkin spice kisses. The stamping was simple. Don't you think any kid would enjoy receiving this as a treat? I used stickles on the B and O's
This card is just a simple square card. I colored the spider with my copics and used crystal effects on his eyes. The color around it was done with my copic airbrush system. I am officially addicted to airbrushing! Stinking fun! The striped paper is from Die Cuts with a View mat stack, Earth prints and Cardstock. I used my Martha Stewart lace border punch to finish the edge. The polka dots were done with my polka dot bg stamped with white craft from SU. I hope you enjoy having another preview of this adorable set from All That Scraps. Enjoy! I forgot to tell you to check out the All That Scraps blog for the others who are participating in the review preview today. One of them is giving away a 5$ gift certificate so go check them out! Don't forget 5% of your order made today will go to the Chatanooga Susan G. Komen Race for a cure.

I have a couple of other things in the works and one of them will be up tomorrow. I just wanted to let you all know that Christine over at All That Scraps has decided that 5% of all sales for today and tomorrow will be donated to the Chattanooga Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. This is a worthy cause and I am sure we all know someone who has been struck with Cancer. Head on over there and do some shopping and help a worthy cause while you are at it! Finally~ Wednesday Challenge

Wow, so am I slow today or what? The fog of a nasty headache is finally lifting. I decided to keep this kinda simple cause the head couldn't handle it. I love Amy's new sets. They are so much fun! So this cute little number decided it wanted to be black and white with a touch of red. Do you like it? My dp is Doodlebug Design White Bouquet. I stamped the flip flops and the cute lil dress or nightie or whatever you want it to be and then cut them out and paper pieced them on the white cs. I added the red dots! On the tag, I stamped the words and added the hearts with my copic marker. After I cut it out and embossed it, I masked it and then airbrushed with my copic air brush system. Have I told you I love that thing? The polka dot bg (my favorite C.C.Design background) was stamped in versamark and then embossed with black ep. I added a piece of vintage lace at the bottom of the rectangle piece. Super easy and I think it turned out kinda cute!

More is more! So I added bling and a bow. I also airbrushed around the dress. I can take it, which do you like better?

Christopher is all dressed up for Halloween. Isn't he cute? The dp is daisyd's modern romance # 6. It is really soft and pretty. The color matched what I was working on so I went for it. The base is SU basic gray. I stitched around the dp and then distressed the edges. Coloring was done with copics and the airbrush system. If you use the brush tip you can get a splatter effect. I used the brush tip with black. On the real red piece I punched it with Martha Stewarts lacy edge punch. I then stamped the polka dot bg (C.C.Designs) in versamark and embossed with clear ep. The tag is nestabilities ribbon slide. I love these tags. Well I am a slacker and today's challenge isn't done yet. I am off to stamp and hopefully later today will have that up for you! The release party was fun last night. If you missed it you can still head on over to All That Scraps. The stamps are for sale! Cute stuff, go check it out!

Ticked Toad

Sugarplum has gone Halloween. How cute is this? The toad had to hitch a ride and he isn't happy about it. He wanted to ride with an ugly witch. Hee hee. He cracks me up! The moon isn't made of cheese after all. It is made of sparkly pumpkins! I had so much fun playing with this set! The purple is KI Memories Inc. Haunted Sky. The pumpkin on the moon is the new cuttlebug pumpkin folder. I used copics to color the witch. If you dot on blender pen, it pulls the color. That is how I did her dress polka dotted. She had to be styling. Her buckle on her hat is hodgpodge hardware from SU. The ribbon is from one of Jody's ribbon shares. Stay tuned later today when I will have something devilish to show you! The release party is tomorrow night starting at 8:00 EST. We would love to have you join us. The new sets will be released at 10 pm EST. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities.

Spooky Spooky Spooky

I am so excited to introduce you to Spooky Spooky Spooky! How cute is this set? There is one with Lucky with his arms up looking scared, a spider, spooky spooky spooky, boooooo in a circle, eyeballs, eeeeeek!, the bat and how cute is our bear dressed up as dracula? This set is absolutely adorable. Christine rocked it this month with her creations! They get better every month! I used stuff you can get at All That Scraps for this creation. The designer paper is KI Memories Inc. Haunted Pin Dot and Haunted Skinny Stripe. The black piece has been put through my pindot cuttlebug folder. I sewed around the designer paper. The most exciting part of the whole thing for me was the coloring on this one. I used my "sweet" copic markers! After coloring the Dracula image, I airbrushed with purple around him. Acckkkkk! I am in love. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on an air compressor? Also the pumpkin in the bottom left corner is the new pumpkin and folder from the Holiday's and folders limited edition cuttlebug stuff. I cut it in white cs and then airbrushed it for the color! How fun is that? My little bat has stardust stickles on his wings. There are tons more stamps for this release and you are going to love them all. Stay tuned for more peeks! Check out the All That Scraps blog to see what the other girls are doing. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities! Ooops, in my excitement I forgot to tell you when the new release is. It will be Tuesday night! There will be a release party as well so stay tuned for more information!
