March stamps

Hi there, I have been working hard getting March stuff finished up.  I am working on April, can you believe it?  Time is flying.

First off we have a new release on Monday!!  Yay.  You will want to check it out as there is some super cute stuff.  Also we are celebrating All That Scraps 6th Anniversary!!  We have a fun blog hop for you next Thursday.

I gotta say I am pretty proud of these.  I don't normally do well with bright colors.  Yay!  I got new paper and it inspired me to try again.  :)  I used Tulip Peep on the first one.  Such a cute lil stamp.  I like that it is a little smaller so you can add lot's of details on your project. I also used the new grunge tag on this.  I had so much fun playing with it.  I finally took the plunge and bought up a bunch of Washi tape.  I think I am addicted.

For the second card I used Swiss Pixie Fairy Abigail.  Love her.  Her dress is perfect for paper piecing.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great Easter weekend.

January Previews Day Three

I have another one for you.  This one uses the new Sweet November Safari Pals.  I also used Welcome Little One, Baby Cakes and the new Baby Accessories dies.  These will be available Thursday at 8:00 pm CST.  Enjoy!

I used a silver sharpie marker to do the silver on the baby pin.  Isn't this monkey seriously the cutest?  I used glossy accents for the dots on the pin.

Review ~ Umbrella Lula

Hi everyone!  I am back.  I got to go on a business/play trip back East with my husband.  It was super nice to have a break and have some play time.  We saw Wicked and The Lion King in NYC this year.  These are favorites from some time ago so we decided to see them again.  They didn't disappoint. We also decided to visit ground zero again since they opened the new monuments after we were there last year.  The waterfall pools are huge and absolutely stunning.   New things we did this year were going to Serendipity in NYC and going to Valley Forge and Long wood Gardens.  If any of you ever go to NYC be sure to go to Serendipity! If any of you have seen the movie Serendipity, they had frozen hot chocolate at the restraunt.  The frozen hot chocolate is amazing.  I would suggest a reservation first however as the wait can be super long without one.  We really enjoyed Valley Forge and the history of George Washington we enjoyed there.  He was an amazing man and so very obviously following what God led him to do.

Today I decided to play with Pam's idea of using the Curly Q border die to make it into flowers.  This was so fun to try.  I did mine a bit different than Pam did, but I love how they turned out.  I also used the Amy R So Wordy stamp to stamp on the umbrella.  To make it fit how I wanted, I just inked up one word at a time and then stamped each separate.

Supplies:
stamps:  Umbrella Lula, So Wordy

other:  Curly Q border die, Butterflies die, Leafy Branch die, sewing machine, thread, edge distresser, sponge, brown ink, memento tuxedo black, copic markers, white gel pen, stickles, Liquid pearls, glitter, jewel brads, paper piercer, ruler

Today is a review over at All That Scraps.  My husband got this box from work last week with chocolate covered nuts in each of the 3 tiers.  I made him take the candy to work to share and snatched the box.  :)  I love the glitz and sparkle.  I also loved the bow and the berries on it.  I added this cute tag.  Now I just have to figure out what fun thing to put in it.  The other girls have done some reviewing as well so be sure to check it out at the blog. Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your evening and all the possibilities.

Back from the Past

We decided to do a Back from the past post to show off older C.C.Designs stamps.  I didn't get mine done in time for the post but here it is a day late.  I was playing with my Grand babies instead and we had a blast.  :)  Here is Cocoa Emma and the Sugarplums winter tree and park bench.  I love how this turned out.  I need to do scenes more often.  I used lots of glass glitter for shine and a bit of stickles too.
