oops

I forgot to post this card.  It is a super cute stamp and I fell off the wagon.  This has to be the craziest summer ever with all our remodeling stuff we are being forced to do.  sigh

I adore Christine's new line.  These are Meoples.  The set is called I want Candy and you will be seeing more of them in the coming months.  Isn't she the cutest?  I popped up her ice cream cone to make it
3-d.  I also used glossy accents on the pink on her cone.  It has such a pretty shine.

July Preview Day 1

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all staying cool.  It has been super hot here but nothing compared to half the rest of the country.  I am counting my blessings.  :)  I am so excited about the release this month.  Cute stuff!! Today I am showing off Ice Cream Lucy.  She is perfect for your summer projects.

The new sweet treats die is perfect for this stamp and oh so cute.  There is a cupcake as well.  I used the sprinkles and wavy line that comes with it to decorate it.  There are so many possibilities.  The tiny flowers are also a new die called 8 petals and branch.  I used the tiny flower in brown to do the centers.  So delicate and cute.

Make sure to head on over to the blog for a chance to win stamps and to see what the other team members created for you today.

I hope you all have an enjoyable 4th of July tomorrow!  Stay safe!

Crazy life

Hi everyone.  Sorry I have been missing.  Lot's of things have been going on since February to cause stress, busyness and mayhem.  I am hoping life will be normal now.  I have a few projects for you the next few days.  I also will have new release stuff for you next week.  Wahooooo!  Are you ready?

I used the cute little Beachy Beatrice for this fun mini card.  I think she turned out cute in her patriotic colors.  Oh how I wish I lived near an ocean right now.  :)

Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!  Check back tomorrow for another project.  :)

Good Morning everyone.  I have new stuff for you.  This is Mermaid Lucy.  I love her for summer projects.  I used stickles all over for extra sparkle and used my blender pen to do the texture on her outfit. Did you notice the cute bubble border on the side?  Hee hee love this border.

The rest of the team has some gorgeous work to show you today also at the All That Scraps blog.  Be sure to head over for your chance to win some fun stamps.  These stamps will be available on Thursday night at 8:00 pm CST.  Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!

Make it Monday

I have a post up at the All That Scraps blog today for Make it Monday.  Today I did a post about doing the paper piercing that I love to do so much.  I think it really dresses up the die cuts to have a border around them.  It is easy peasy.  Head on over and check it out.

Tomorrow we will be previewing the new June stamps so be sure to come back for that.  I decided to tease you a bit and used one of the word sets and the cute seashell and starfish dies that will be introduced.  So fun.

I wanted to tell you about the way I did my water on this project before getting to the supplies.  I hand tore three strips of paper.  After that I used white kraft ink on the edges and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I love how it ended up looking like white caps in the ocean.  Hee hee
