This is what happens when you get in a hurry and don't pay attention to what tool you are grabbing! Yikes! I was trying to get some design team stuff finished and accidentally grabbed my C plate. The good news is (if you can call it good news, I use this everyday), I broke it more on the end than in the middle. I think I can get by with it until I get a replacement. I spent time that I was going to use stamping yesterday looking for a new C plate. Wouldn't you know it? They have A plates and B plates but no C? One store didn't even carry Cuttlebug stuff! I know it, are they under a rock? Well Christine to the rescue! She carries them at All That Scraps! ( I her!) She is currently out of them but will get one to me as soon as they come in. I am first in line Christine. ;) On to the fun stuff.
Ladies (and Gents if you are out there) meet Layla! Isn't she just the cutest? I love her muchly! She has the fashion going on! I decided that she needed to be on a tall card. This card fits in a business size envelope. It kinda made it a little harder to get a pic of though. No worries, I took a close up so you could see her better. Mellow moss was used for the base. Chocolate chip and bashful blue are the other two card stock pieces I used on this one. I used my favorite go to embossing folder, swiss dots. I think it is going to wear out first. I used my sewing machine for some accents and create-a-cut for scallops. The brads are SU and so is the ribbon. I used my dew drops I got from All That Scraps. Do you likey? You can win Layla and her friend, Virginia, whom I am showcasing tomorrow, by going to the All That Scraps blog and commenting. Head on over there for some more sneak peeks from today.
Oh, I forgot to add that I used the cupcake image from It's Your Birthday, also a C.C. Designs stamp. It ended up looking like one of them giant cupcakes! Yummy! Well I am off to get all the Saturday stuff done. Take time today to enjoy the possibilities! Have a great weekend!

I'm so sorry about your c plate. I almost did the same thing the other night, but heard it starting to crack and caught it before it broke in half!
Love the card! Your creations are amazing:o)
