The picture Trudee supplied was beautiful. It is a little out of my element but I like the way it turned out. I tried to let the sparkle shine through and I think I achieved that. I used barely banana as my base for this card. The cuttlebug and embossing folder were used at the bottom as well as my create-a-cut. I am for sure on a scallop kick! I stamped the swirl from Priceless in the right corner. Using my sakura sparkle gel pen, I outlined the swirls and dotted as well. It is stunning in person. I used my sewing machine at the top and bottom of the soft sky layer. The dp is from Ellen Hutson's store. I used the sparkle pen on the banana stripes and dotted it. The brads down the left side are saffron and I glued a swarovski crystal to the centers with crystal effects. The ovals are cut with my mega and giga scallop punches. (I can't wait to get the new spellbinder dies!) I used my corners and borders oval set to do designs on the soft sky piece. I used scissors to distress the scallops on that layer. The whisper white layer is stamped with the corners and borders oval dots. I used the sparkle gel pen in the centers of the scallops to add some sparkle. I used my Vases in Vogue flower and stamped it in versafine onyx black. My heat tool was used to set the ink. Barely Banana marker dotted each flower, then stickles were added for some glitz. The thank you was stamped in Brocade blue. I finished the piece off with a piece of white organdy ribbon and a fancy hat pin thingy I found at Walmart. It has a Swavovski crystal bead added. I cut off the end and used my pliers from my Stampin'Up! tool kit to curl the end.
