So I stamped....

...but I can't say it's something to write home to Mom about. I am going to put it up there. I do like the background. I am wishing my nestabilities dies were here cause I could have used them. Oh well, at least I got to play with my stamps today. I used a true thyme base layered with chocolate chip. The next layer is sahara sand and it is stamped with my swirls from priceless in true thyme. I stamped the flowers with chocolate chip and then I stamped my linen bg stamp in chocolate chip over the whole thing. The edges are distressed with scissors. I used my slit punch on the bottom right side to add interest. The flowers were made sparkly with stickles. The bottom right piece is punched with the mega and giga scallop square punches. (This is where my new circle nestabilities would have come in handy.) I stamped the sahara sand piece with true thyme and added stickles to add sparkle. The center is stamped in chocolate chip craft and clear embossed. I cut it out with a flower die from my cuttlebug flower dies. It was done on a chipboard coaster. I sponged the edges with true thyme and added stickles for sparkles. A small knot was added with my chocolate chip taffeta ribbon. The Thank you was stamped and then the h and k were stamped again in chocolate chip and cut out and glued on. The piece was finished with a chocolate chip taffeta bow. It isn't bad just not my best stamping. I guess the mojo takes a little time to find itself.
