Day 3 Sneak Peek

This is Gretel! Is she not the cutest? These are the new Swiss Pixies. They will be available on Monday night with the other new stuff! The sentiments on both cards are from Amy R. Stamps Thank You Sentiments. You can never have to many sentiments and this has tons to cover everything in the thank you department. I used pink pirouette for the base. Chocolate chip is the frame with Basicgrey on top of that. The flowers were done with Spellbinders new Blossom dies (S4-192) The smallest three were used for the petals, then embossed with the Flowers Impressabilites templates. I sponged them with chocolate chip before assembling the flowers. After they were assembled, I snipped the flowers slightly to give them more depth. Gretel is posing for a photo! I got the photo look by using Nestabilities deckled rectangles! I used die number 5 of the small ones. (S4-201) Copics used were E00, E11, W1, RV11, RV32, B00, Y21, YR21, YR23, E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47. I applied stardust stickles to her wing for sparkle. The tag is from Tags Trio S3-148.

Next we have Heidi! I love how she is sitting. I used Buckaroo blue for the base on this one and chocolate chip embossed with the Spellbinders butterfly Impressability. After it was embossed I brushed white craft ink on it. Heidi was cut out using the large Octagons (S4-185) and large Scalloped Octagons (S4-187). I used the two largest ones. Copics used were E44, E47, E00, E11, B00, B91, B93, B95, E31. The wings were glittered up with stardust stickles. Flowers were done in chocolate chip with Flower Bouquet (S4-200) and then the swirls came from Floral Accent (S4-199).
These sets are up to win if you leave a comment on the All That Scraps blog. You can't win if you don't enter!

Amy did another sentiment set. This one is all about Thank you's. I realized as I was getting ready to show my sample that you have to wait to see the image. Haa haa. Am I a tease or what? I will show it to you tomorrow along with another sample. See, it will be worth the wait. You get two instead of one! :) We all love Amy's sentiment sets because you can use them with everything. She always covers so much with these sets. They are must have's for every stamp crazed woman! Ok, so I am tired and off to bed. Check back Saturday and I will have two samples for you.

Day 2 Sneak Peek

Christine made a baby set!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so giddy when she showed us this set! It is called Oh Baby and it is adorable. She has the cutest stuff in this one! Here is my preggo Mommy to be. She is so stinking cute. As usual Christine nailed this one. I am so excited to have a baby set finally. I don't have any really cute ones and this one fills that hole. I will come back later and put all the details down for these. Gotta get crack-a-lacking today.

Isn't the bug just the cutest? :) I smile when I look at these stamps. Playing with them has been heaven! Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities. I will return! I have more cute stuff for you for tomorrow.

Did you see this?

These are the new colors of the new atyou spica pens! They are finally available and can I just tell you how pretty they are in real life? ;) I have been playing with them for over a month and I can't even describe how gorgeous they are. I even used them on my fairy card. I love the sparkle. Christine has them at All That Scraps. Run and get you some before they are gone! You won't be sorry.

No I haven't fallen off the planet!

I am here still, just busy working on lots of dt projects. I also got the sickies after I got home from NYC and it went away, but seems to be coming back. Sinus garbage. Yucky! So what do you all think of Christine's cute little fairy? Isn't she the cutest. She is going to be available on Monday night along with other cute stuff!
I used pink pirouette for the base and the kraft is from PTI. The embossed kraft piece was done using my flowers impressabilities and white craft ink. I lightly misted my piece of card stock before embossing and it made the embossing so crisp! I zig zagged around the piece. I colored and airbrushed this sweet fairy with my copics. The flowers were also done with pink pirouette and then airbrushed. I used stickles and swarovsky crystals to make them sparkle. I hope you enjoy her. I have another way cute project up for you tomorrow. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!

Belle of the Beach

Christine had so much fun with the Sugarplum Beach kids Emma and Trevor she made us some more! ;) For now these are just digi images, but if enough of us ask for rubber she will make them into rubber! How cute is Emma with her bucket? I used BasicGrey porcelain paper with this beach beauty. The punch is EK success. Labels Four S4-190 was used for my tag and behind Emma. I used number 1 and 6. I used my Impressibilities Flowers I2-1004 to give the one behind Emma some texture. After it was cut and embossed I airbrushed it while the die was still attached to the paper. I used stardust stickles and black diamond stickles as well as liquid pearls on the flowers and her sunglasses. Her bow is SU ribbon with swarovsky crystals glued on. I used wire for her bucket handle and twisted it for a cute effect. The polka dots on the kraft paper were done with C.C. Designs polka dot background and Colorbox creamy brown chalk ink. This digi image along with two others will be available tomorrow at All That Scraps. If you check later today on the ATS blog there will be some other samples that the other dt members did with these digi stamps. Have a great Sunday and enjoy the possibilities.

I am home and baby news!

Some of you may remember we were waiting for a new Granddaughter when we left. You guessed it, she decided to show up after we left. At first Grandma was a basket case, then she just accepted it and enjoyed the trip. Her name is Makiya and she was born last Thursday at 9:19 am. She was almost a week late and only weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz. She is such a tiny little thing. Her Mom showed up at the hospital at 6 am and didn't even have time for an epidural. She is an angel and I have spent the last couple days and even a couple nights snuggling and getting to know her. Makiya and Grandma are tight already. ;)
I just spent a fantastic week in Pennsylvania and New York City. After our trade show, we were able to drive part way to Diane Zechman and have lunch with her and her sweet husband. We went to Red Lobster and the food and company was amazing. After lunch we took some pics and then found a Michaels nearby and went shopping. Our husband's were so sweet and even went in the store with us. Diane made me this super cute notebook. Thank you Diane for the adorable notebook and for the memories. It was so fantastic to finally meet after all these months of planning it.

Wednesday DT challenge ~ 3x3 notecard box

The challenge at All That Scraps this week is to create a 3x3 notecard box. Here is mine. You can find a tutorial to make this over at Splitcoaststampers. I used BasicGrey Marrakech paper for my box along with SU Blush Blossom. The stamp set is the new Sugarplums Surfer Emma with the star fish from Sugarplums Beach Scene. The Spellbinders S4-193 Peony set is new! I love these shapes. I used stardust stickles on the starfish and the centers of the flowers. Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities.
