Wednesday DT challenge ~ Doodle on your project

What was I thinking when I asked the team to doodle? I fiddled with this most of the day yesterday. I finally decided to doodle my butterflies. Now you can see why I stamp instead of draw! This new set is all about back to school. It is called School Days and it is just the cutest. I love this little bunny with his crayon. Of course I had to put polka dots on it as that is just me. Grin. I have new Spellbinders too! I used my new In Spades Borderabilites for the lace piece on the side. It is way cool and you can thread ribbon through it. :) Me likey! Wednesday challenge and a new preview

This week (month and next month to) are proving to be very busy ones for me. I am excited to show you what I can share. Some of it I can't but I am excited about all that to. Fun things are coming to our future! Smile. Here is the new Chasing Butterflies set that will be released at All That Scraps on Monday. Diem Pascarella is designing some stamps for Christine now. If the name sounds familiar it is because she designs the adorable Beautiful Day Fairies for Paper Makeup Stamps. This set she created is just too cute. I had a blast playing with it and also with my new Spellbinders Eyelets Pendant die. This gorgeous die is available now! Here is my challenge for today. I challenged the team to use patriotic colors. I didn't limit which patriotic colors so anyone can play and use what is patriotic to them. The 4th of July will always be my favorite. I love the warm feeling I get when I think of all the servicemen and women who have given their all for my freedom. The pride just swells in my heart. I appreciate all of these people and their families for the sacrifice that they have made and make on a daily basis.

Christine came out with a new digital image last week. There is a short hair version and this one. Her name is Kiki! Isn't she the cutest? I had so much fun coloring her. I think I had a big ole grin on my face the whole time I was creating this card.

Wednesday DT challenge ~ Box in a bag

The challenge today at All That Scraps is to do a box in a bag. If you want to play along you can find the details here. I had a lot of fun and did two projects matching. It would be fun to put something fun in the bag and give this one as a set. I used Diane's new Get Well Critters set. Stinking cute! Don't you love the pig? These are the new colors of the new atyou spica pens! They are finally available and can I just tell you how pretty they are in real life? ;) I have been playing with them for over a month and I can't even describe how gorgeous they are. I even used them on my fairy card. I love the sparkle. Christine has them at All That Scraps. Run and get you some before they are gone! You won't be sorry.

I think this is my favorite set for this release! I love, love, love this ladybug! I hope you enjoy my take on her. She just makes me smile. I used Amy's friends sentiments for the sentiment. Paper piercing, white polka dots, red and black, lace, these are all my favorites! I had a blast creating this one.
