March stamps

Hi there, I have been working hard getting March stuff finished up.  I am working on April, can you believe it?  Time is flying.

First off we have a new release on Monday!!  Yay.  You will want to check it out as there is some super cute stuff.  Also we are celebrating All That Scraps 6th Anniversary!!  We have a fun blog hop for you next Thursday.

I gotta say I am pretty proud of these.  I don't normally do well with bright colors.  Yay!  I got new paper and it inspired me to try again.  :)  I used Tulip Peep on the first one.  Such a cute lil stamp.  I like that it is a little smaller so you can add lot's of details on your project. I also used the new grunge tag on this.  I had so much fun playing with it.  I finally took the plunge and bought up a bunch of Washi tape.  I think I am addicted.

For the second card I used Swiss Pixie Fairy Abigail.  Love her.  Her dress is perfect for paper piecing.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great Easter weekend.

Spring is coming!!

Haa haa it doesn't feel like it today.  I woke up to 6 degrees.  I am so ready to have warmth again.  Today I have two non card projects for you.  The first one with the Panda makes me sad because you can't see his rosy cheeks in the picture.  :(  They are rosy, I promise.

I used Asian Meoples and Cracked Lula on these projects.  The Easter one turned out to be my favorite.

Thanks for stopping by!

February Previews Day One

Hi there, I am so glad we are finally into February.  January typically isn't my favorite month.  This year it wasn't to bad so I am excited to move on to better months.  :)

This post is all about cuteness!  I used Potted Lucy for this project.  I love how she turned out. The flowers were made with 8 petals and branch.  I love how tiny and petite they are, so perfect for small embellishments.  Lucy will be available Thursday night with the other new stuff for this release.

The team has some cute projects for you today here <------- nbsp="">

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you were inspired.  Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!

Oldies but Goodies

Today I pulled out an old C.C. Designs stamp to show you how cute it is.  :)  I used Swiss Pixie Country Lula.  I love her little basket of eggs.  I have chickens so I was excited to get this cute image out today and play.  I recently had someone ask about the red hair.  I use E13, E17, E18 and E19 to do the red. I usually start with the E18 then use the E19 and fill in with the other two.  I end with E18 to darken up what gets lightened.  I also paper pieced her dress, adding some shading on the plain aqua part.

We are dusting off old images at All That Scraps on Friday's and revisiting them.  You can see more at the All That Scraps Blog.

I hope you have a great Friday and your weekend is relaxing and enjoyable.  :)  See you next week.

Supplies:

other:  C.C. Cutters Phlox flowers, sewing machine, circle punches, seam binding, BG72 alcohol ink, white paint, copic markers, foam squares,  mono multi liquid glue

Review ~ Mushroom girl

I have a cute treat for you today.  I had so much fun playing with this Swiss Pixie Mushroom Girl stamp.  This is the first time I got to ink her up.  She is so cute.  I saw the two leaves on the logo die and thought a ribbon posie would be perfect there.  I punched a hole in between the leaves and stuck the posie down in the hole, securing it on the back.  There are some other cute reviews over on the All That Scraps blog so be sure to check them out. Happy Valentines Day!

Supplies:
stamps:  Swiss Pixie Mushroom Girl, Woodland Logos

other:  Mushroom die, Circle die, dp, hand dyed krinkle ribbon,  copic markers, airbrush system, white gel pen, stickles, sponges, ink, Spellbinders die, corner rounder, pearl cotton, embossing folder
