Wednesday Challenge ~ Color

Yesterday I challenged the team to use Rose Red, Basic Black and Always Artichoke for the challenge. Wouldn't you know it, I got my paper out and had very little black and no rose red. I just used Riding Hood Red instead. Next time I will make sure I have it first! ;) Isn't this sweet new Shy Kiki La Rue adorable? Christine released her and two others and I am finally getting to play with mine. I think she looks like a school girl.

I finally got to use Amy's Sympathy Sentiments set. Isn't this just pretty? I thought using this paper would make it hard to pull off a sypathy card, but it pretty much just came together. The sketch Diane did for us was fabulous. I am going to have to use this one again. Have a great evening! :)

Wednesday DT challenge ~ Doodle on your project

What was I thinking when I asked the team to doodle? I fiddled with this most of the day yesterday. I finally decided to doodle my butterflies. Now you can see why I stamp instead of draw! This new set is all about back to school. It is called School Days and it is just the cutest. I love this little bunny with his crayon. Of course I had to put polka dots on it as that is just me. Grin. I have new Spellbinders too! I used my new In Spades Borderabilites for the lace piece on the side. It is way cool and you can thread ribbon through it. :) Me likey! Did ya miss me?

It has been a super busy summer and the last month was killer. I am back in my studio and I have a Wednesday challenge to show you today! I colored some of the cutest new images last night for the next ATS release. You won't be disappointed. You may have noticed I didn't have any of the new release previews up for Monday night. I took a little break, but I am back. My son is getting settled and started back at work today. He was at the college yesterday getting all of his paperwork in. So with that said, on to the good stuff!

I challenged the girls to do another triangle box. Beate has the cutest box on the tutorials at SCS and I had to try it. Isn't this sweet new Heidi just the cutest? I love that she is sitting in the flowers. I also got to use new Renaissance hearts pendant dies that came in my mail yesterday! Can we say heaven? I just scored them and folded them to look like flowers. I love the lacey effect.
