Gingersnaps Spring Thing

Isn't Christine just rocking these Gingersnaps? Oh my goodness! This set will be released Monday night at 10:00 pm at All That Scraps. I used mellow moss for the base of this. I used crystal effects and glitter on the puddle. Spica clear glitter pen was used on my butterflies. It is so sparkly. You can check out some of the other dt's samples at the Blog. You can also win this set if you go check out the blog. :) Enjoy and have a great day. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for another stinking cute set. :)

Mushroom Friends~

Edited to add: Paper used pretty in pink, chocolate chip, kraft, basic grey: Bittersweet and DCWV mat stack earth prings and cardstock.

This new stamp set is Diane's! It is called Mushroom friends. How stinking cute is this? I am in love! The Friends sentiment on the first one is from Amy's Friends Sentiments. :) I had so much fun coloring and making these cards. It also looks like I am still stuck on the pink and brown. :) Both of these sets along with two others will be available Monday night at 10:00 pm. EST. We will be having a release party at 8. I hope you can come and share in the fun!

Happy News!!!

Wow so there is lot's going on in my neighborhood! My daughter moved a couple days ago and being pregnant and all required lots of help from her Mom. I have been helping her pack and then with the big move. Yesterday I helped clean the old place for her new tenants. Lot's of work and I am exhausted.

So on to the big news and then some fun stamping! I made the Spellbinders 09-10 design team! When Stacey called yesterday I was at my daughters still. I guess I should have warned the carpet layers, carpet cleaners and sweet helpful neighbors who were there to get the work done. I got off the phone and screamed as I ran upstairs to tell Andrea. The carpet cleaner came running thinking Andrea had gone into labor. Hee hee too funny! I am thrilled for this opportunity and so excited to get to go to Phoenix to meet the other girls!

Yesterday was our Wednesday Challenge and I didn't get a minute to get mine up so here ya go. The challenge was faux postage.

I used old SU designer paper and my cute froggie set from C.C. Designs that I haven't got to play with in forever! I love this set. :) It is called Froggie and Friends. You can find a tutorial here if you would like to play along. Information on the challenge is posted on the ATS forum.

On to the next subject. New Release! Amy has come up with this fantastic Friends Sentiments set. This card was actually used for two purposes. ;) I used it for my final project in the Spellbinders call. Isn't her stamp just fabulous? Seriously I am in love with this set and all it can do! There are about 25 stamps in the set and they are all about friends. I used old SU designer paper for this card. Chocolate chip and riding hood red are my colors. The flowers were made using Spellbinders scallop hearts. The butterfly is vellum cardstock cut out then airbrushed with E49. I put 3 swarovsky crystals under the embossed image of the friend stamp. Enjoy!

Wednesday sketch challenge

Here is my card for the sketch challenge. So do you want to hear something funny? The sketch was mine from another card I did. I had a hard time with the sketch. Giggle. I just had a hard time with my three items and I am still not loving it, but it is what it is. Enjoy. The paper is certainly celery and SU dp. Have a great night!

I decided it would be fun today to share this fun book with you! It is 8x8 chipboard. I made the book with my bind it all. The pages inside are scalloped! How fun is that. I made this book for part of my Spellbinders submissions to try for the new design team. I used my cute little Gingersnaps Snow Bunnies image on this. The flowers are hand crocheted by me! This book isn't a sketch book like you would think of sketch books. It is to keep track of my sketch markers and color combos. I am going to have fun filling this book! ;) Have a great day and enjoy all the possibilities!

Review Preview Friday

Diane is killing me with her stamp creations! This is another peek at Cookie Jar and Cookie Jargon. I love this adorable little mouse! If you look at the closeup you will see that I popped this mousie up not once but twice. I popped the whole body and then I stamped the head again and cut it out and popped it. K, I am really going to try and quit with the pink and brown for a while. Key word there is try. I forgot to tell you, I had some of those crochet flowers in white and wanted brown, so I airbrushed them and added a different pink button to each. Have a super weekend and Valentines Day!

Wednesday DT challenge

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. I have had quite a bit going on. The exciting thing, guess I can talk about it since they posted it, is that I was accepted to continue on in the quest for the new Spellbinders Design Team! I am so excited for the opportunity. I haven't been able to wipe the silly grin off my face since I got the email! There is some tough competition and I wish all the other finalists good luck!

Next is today's Wednesday challenge. Paper piecing. I haven't done much of this, but it was way fun! I went with pinks since I am getting a new Granddaughter in a couple months. She better not pop out a boy now! Giggle. I used Amy's awesome Wardrobe set to stamp my onsie. I had to make a girlie one. Ruffles, lace, and pink, what could be better? See the tiny heart on the bow? It is a wooden heart I found in my stash. I traced it onto the Basic Grey dp and then carefully cut it out making it a bit smaller than the tracing. I glued it on and sanded the edges. Easy peasy and oh so cute! Have a great day and enjoy the possibilities!
