2nd Chick

Here is my second chick with this set! I love this little shopping chick. She is so cute! I used barely banana and did the Flap fold card from the TLC161 challenge over at SCS. I measured my cardstock 11"x4 1/4". I scored at 4 1/2 and 9 inches. After using my coluzzle to cut the circle on the flap, I paper pierced around the flap using my Tim Holtz ruler as a guide. I just turned it a little at a time as I got to the circle part. I stamped my cute heart bg stamp from C.C. Designs with versamark ink and clear embossed it. How cute are those hearts with our shopping chick? I used paper and stickers from one of the Stampin'Up! simply scrappin' kits. I zig zagged around the strip piece with my sewing machine and the distressed the edges of the blue. The striped ribbon is Stampin'Up! bashful blue. Little miss chicky was stamped in basic black and then I used my prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color her. I used my white gel pen to add dots. Her necklace and purse are decorated with my stardust glitter pen. Don't you just love her designer shopping bag? I used one of my rub-on flowers from the saleabration rub-on's. I added white gel pen to the top after it was on there. I hope you like her. I had a blast making this one and I am for sure going to do some more of these flap cards. It was fast and easy! Check back tomorrow for some elegant butterfly creations!
