My sexy handyman

Ladies meet Jack! How cute is he? I don't have tons of masculine stamps so when C.C.Designs came out with this set, I fell in love. This is a 4 piece set that has the nails on the right side of card, Jack, My sexy handyman and a hammer (not shown). This set would be awesome for Father's Day! I used real red for the base and stamped the nails down the right side with versamark ink. The second layer is random designer paper (sorry I don't have a clue where I got it or even what it is). I used brown pearl cotton and sewed the line down the left side. I pierced holes where I wanted the sewing with my paper piercer and my Tim Holtz ruler. Next I used a needle from my SU tool kit and sewed it by hand. The next layer is a 4x4" chipboard coaster stamped with navy craft ink and my just jeans bg stamp from SU. This is a retired stamp, but I am so glad I kept it. The next layer is chocolate chip embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The circles reminded me of washers. I stamped Jack on a piece of fabriano note card in basic black and used my prismacolors and gamasol to blend it. I sponged blue around him after it was finished and then brown on the edges. I doodled lines around for a frame with chocolate chip marker. I stamped my sexy handyman on creamy caramel, punched it and sponged it with chocolate chip. I layered a navy circle behind it and then added two brads that were hammered to give them a roughed up look. We are almost down to Friday! You can get this set for yourself Friday at 12:01 am. at All That Scraps. I am cooking up something fun for tomorrow! Stay tuned.
